Fun Monday #38: the clothing art edition

The lovely Willowtree is our host for this week's Fun Monday, and he wants to see some clothing art.

Meaning: Tee shirts, baseball caps, hoodies, sports uniforms or any bit of clothing that you or your kids own that has interesting, funny or artistic graphics.

I signed up to participate, figuring I could find SOMETHING, but I was not so sure.

Until Wednesday morning, when I opened the front door to find a chilly rain. So I dug back into the closet and pulled out my old standby denim jacket. I have had this jacket for more than 22 years, bought when my oldest boys were mere babies, and I totally love it. But every year I put it away when the weather warms up, and it stays in the closet until the temperature drops again.

It also tends to stop traffic when I wear it. Subtle it is not.

This jacket is truly one of my prize possessions ... and yet I consistently forget about it every summer until I am joyously reunited with it every fall.

So ... what's up with that, doc?

I was the same as you after signing up. Like what will I post? Then I realized "art" was defined very loosely and that I had more of it than I could possibly photograph!

Cool bunny, doc!

Isn't that funny how you can love something so much and forget about it in the off season. I have things like that.

Great Jacket!

VERY cool! And I'm so impressed you can still wear something so many years later! Sadly I can not say the same thing.

One of my favorite artsy things of this week's Fun Monday :). No wonder you've had it for so long. Bugs ROCKS!!!

I get attached to clothes, too...otherwise, my closet/drawers would be a whole lot neater! :)

I love how the ears come over the shoulders. When I was really little, the potty chair my parents got me had Bugs Bunny on it. My mom is using that old wooden thing for grandchildren now, but it has since been painted.

Bugs was my FAVORITE!! I used to run to the fridge to grab a carrot to munch when he munched!!

That is AWESOME!!! I had a denim jacket with Mickey Mouse on it once, although the graphic was nowhere near as big as that.

Oh hey, a bit of trivia... When Mel Blanc suffered a stroke (a long time ago), his speech was affected. The funny thing is, he could only talk like Bugs from nearly a year while the speech pathologists worked with him, I'm serious.
