Yesterday I posted my Whore My Loot thingy. And while I was putting it together, I came to the crashing realization that I DID NOT GET A HANUKKAH PRESENT!!
I did get birthday presents, and to be fair, my family made my birthday special in the midst of a holiday season.
But.
Everyone else's birthday was special this year too.
And then they got Hanukkah presents.
*insert whine here*
So I think the only thing to do is buy myself something that I really really want. Right?

365? No way. They can just go away, because I won't do it. Traffic already suffered from one month of that craziness, and I couldn't keep up with the readings.

as for chanukkah gifts...i bought my own! and...i got a digital camera, by default. so, are those considered chanukkah gifts? i. don't. think. so!!! we need to have little chats with our hubbies, dontchya think? hey...at least you got a birthday present. i'm still waiting for a phone call from my hubby, for my 35th birthday...that was 4 years ago!!! schmuck!

As for birthdays... mine's Christmas Day, and I got nada. Mommy made me birthday brownies and gave me a card, but that's it. They say they'll celebrate it in January. Hrmph.

Love the ku. Just saw the note about that yesteday. I pretty much blog everyday anyway, but I'm thinking of taking a hiatus. Maybe I'll not post for 366 days. (Leap year, you know.) I wonder what I'd win if I did that?

Camera!
I'm not promising to do the 365 thing, but it's my goal to post every day. We'll see how that goes. If I fall flat on my face, at least I won't have broken a promise:o)
I won't try the 365 post. I may do it but I wouldn't dare sign up for it. Nah, I don't think I will even do it.
Get the camera!
We bought a Nikon D40 with the VR lens before our first was born in October and love, love, love it. Costco had a kit with both those items for somewhere between $700-$900 (I can't remember the exact price but it was within that range) a few weeks before Christmas. And I'm an Apple gal. Is there any way you can just, um, sort of splurge and justify the cost of both toys?
You should get the Nikon. I've had mine a year and the picture quality is AWESOME. But buy it from a place like Ritz/kits camera and get the extended warranty. well worth it, particularly for the SLR lenses. Mine get beat to heck here, but whenever anything breaks, they replace it instantly, for free, not even shipping costs.
I vote for both. Then I can live vicariously through you. :)
365? that's just insanity! NaBloPoMo just about killed me both from writing everyday and trying to keep up with everyone's posts! i would never survive 365!
