Haiku Friday: the writer's block edition

Haiku Friday

I thought and thought and
Thought and thought and thought and thought.
But I have nothing.

Seriously, I feel like I am in repeat mode right now.

Things that are going on in my life:

A lot of swimming.

Dogs that still poop in the house.

Mourning yet another Coke (hard-to-find Coke Zero Cherry) that seems to be going away.

More teen fashion emergencies.

New underwear.

Life is offering no new haiku fodder than I haven't already mined.

I do have more wacky conversations with my wacky kids (stay tuned), but haiku it ain't.

Though I can leave you with this:

My children have grown.
Some of them have left the nest.
Always my babies.

New underwear...

You can't come up with haiku for that???

Love the fresh feeling
pulled right out of the package
softly placed on bum

For you!

Maybe no haiku, is good haiku? There could always be something horrible that you would need to write about.

Love the last one.

‘Tis funny how inspiration creeps up on us unexpectedly when we relax and let go.

I love that Ku. Why does coke feel the need to always discontinue products I like??

I try not to think. It hurts too much.

I thought your 'ku was great. Sorry about the writer's block. But kids always seem to give you some sort of fodder.

haha I enjoyed both the first and the last haiku.

I hate how they do that with sodas. I used to be able to find diet decaf mnt dew (yeah I know what's the point right?! *L*) but now it seems I can only find diet or decaf. Darn them.

A wish for you, friend:
Doggies with constipation
Easier to clean

Advice for Janet
When living with indoor pets
Best ditch the carpet

Dogs who poo on rugs
Better than dog that paces
To warn he must pee

Pacing dog, needs out
Long, winding trail of urine
On every carpet

You can teach owner
New tricks, now matter how old
No carpet for me

I wish that Janet
Could inspire me to clean house
And not write haiku:o)
