Your girl is adorable and I love her hair. They do look lovely together. Not an oxymoron but a complete and total insult. Soooooooooooo stupid and don't tell me the oil companies aren't gouging us all.
I'll stop complaining now. We're up to 3.99 (at least on Saturday it was 3.99). But 2 weeks ago today it was 3.69. The gas stations have just stopped putting the prices on the signs since it changes so often. And Happy Birthday to J-Bear.

I'm a working wife and mom, married 6 years to the Wonderhubby. My five kids (yes five) are 28 (Drummer Man), 25 (Drama King), 20 (Z-man), 19 (J-Bear) and 15 (the Roo-girl). What was I thinking? Oh yeah, I was thinking that I love my life, my kids, my world. Right now, I'm no longer about about middle school (nooooo!), but I AM dealing with high school (eek!), college days (cry) and letting go. Email me at jsongbird4(at)aol.com

Aw, the blender saga continues, and those are super cute. The whole gas situation is getting stupid, cruel, painful and beyond belief.
Oy. I was just griping about paying $4.06 yesterday! That's awful!
My husband just installed a hydrogen generator in his truck - can double mpg! I'm excited about that!
I love those first two pictures, they have such a feeling of togetherness and family ...
Stop your bitchin' I just converted it and we are paying over SIX BUCKS a gallon here in Oz.
*boggle*
I love that last photo and the first two as well.
Yeah, petrol is expensive everywhere. Time for some garbage fuelled vehicles, i think.
Oh My GOSH - SUCH an oxymoron.
Love the blender bonding. I bet it was yummy too.
Ugh on the gas thing.
Happy cake eating.
Oh, the gas thing is just sad. I feel your pain :)
Love the blender bonding. VERY cute
That is totally an oxymoron if I ever saw one!! It's getting so I don't know if we're going to be able to afford my husband's commute to work anymore.
I think Thrifty should change their name!
Happy Birthday!! And yes the gas prices are outrageous.
Sad when it's cheaper to buy a gallon of milk...
Love the pics, except that one!
Geez I thought the gas was expensive down here! I think its time you started riding your bike around or walking maybe?
I retract that, just read Kelley's comment so we are paying more anyway. And yes we have been trying to walk everywhere we can.
looks like a fruit smoothie....
yup.. gas prices kept me home on this weekend.
But -- I'll be traveling when that baby arrives.
it's crazy, our gas has been going up every 2 to 3 days.

And Happy Birthday to J-Bear.
I cry every time I fill my tank :( It's getting to the point where I don't want to leave the house unless I can walk or bike to my destination.
Love your photos! That cake looks lovely :)
Oh please please please can I play this feul pricing game?
I'm in Sydney, Australia.
I paid AU$1.51 per litre of feul yesterday.
Various internet conversion sites tell me that.
AU$1.51 = US$1.47 (yay dollar!)
1 litre = 0.264172052 US gallons
Which works out at US$5.56 per gallon.
Ouch!
