Food for thought

The scene: on the way into Ihop for a delicious evening meal

Evil Mother: I love having breakfast for dinner

Wonderhubby: You could have dinner for breakfast, but who does that?

The Roo-girl: Me. I do that all the time.

Evil Mother: This is true. You are the leftover queen in the mornings.

Wonderhubby: Ok, so if you have breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast, what do you have for lunch?

The Roo-girl: DESSERT!!!!

Ah, yes, if I had any doubt, she just proved that she truly IS my daughter.

I'm more of a dessert for EVERY meal kind of girl, but I respect Roo's logic.

LOL! Dessert for an entire meal sounds perfectly acceptable to me.

We should totally do lunch ;)

cold pizza in the morning is the best, especially when you're hungover.

actually, dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner is a good idea! Eat all your calories at the beginning of the day and you'll have more time to burn 'em off!

cold pizza in the morning is good, yes, but I like cold spaghetti sandwich. On white bread with butter. I think it takes a couple of days to burn that off.

I'm not really into dinner for breakfast, but I definitely agree about dessert.

Breakfast any time of the day is fabulous, but dinner or lunch for breakfast is just wrong.

I'll make pancakes and eggs for supper sometimes and the kids will just sit there and stare at me. They love it, but it seems to catch them off guard every single time.
