Yup, I have taken the plunge. My Wii Fit arrived Wednesday, and Miss Roo-girl and I unpacked it yesterday. (Although we need to buy a new controller because the rat dogs ate the old one.)* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

True Story: When I was setting up my profile, I had the board backward and my Wii Fit age showed up as 54...I'm 35. I nearly died, until I figured it out. Not so bad when I flipped the board!
I have Wii and Fit on my wish list - wishing I don't get them. Not sure I could handle that much trauma but everyone I know loves it, loves it. Great post!!!
Little Miss has the Wii, but I have yet gotten the fit. Something about a machine telling me to get off my fat tail and do something makes me shiver. Good luck to you!

I got mine for mothers day.
Mothers Day is in May here in Australia. (dunno if it is different there)
It mocked me and was all 'do you loose balance often when walking?' and made my Mii fat.
So I haven't touched it since.

I've found it a bit tough to get in a real good work out with the Wii Fit - it simply takes too much time between activities to make it conducive to keeping up your heart rate or just getting enough exercise in in a short time.
But it IS fun. We took ours to a party last night and had a BLAST watching all of our friends hula hoop and dodge soccer cleats!
