Haiku Friday: the where's my muse edition

Haiku Friday

This week's been quiet
on the planet of Janet.
The words just won't come.

I'm drowning in my
own issues and work dramas
with nothing to say.

However ... it's weird
that I can still prattle on
in five-seven-five.

The Drama King has
requested a family meal.
Perhaps that will help.

Cuz there's nothing like
dinner with my family
to jumpstart my muse.

So perhaps next week
we will break bread together.
Anyone for corn?

I love when you link to family comedy that occurred before I became a regular reader.

that is priceless. I fully expect another gem to await you when you gather the Janet brood. :)

(I've apparently used up my lifetime supply of exclamation points and must now write things in a monotone. Periods are boring.)

Yup, some weeks are like that. But surely the comedy of family time will deeply inspire! It generally does the trick around here too!
Great thoughts in the 5-7-5 though!

Wait, is Drama King the one who cooks? Because that's irony on a whole new level.

it's all because we've been stuck on Plurk talking about sex toys.

You're definitely proficient at 5-7-5. Thanks, I enjoyed that! :)

Hoping time with family will renew and regenerate and bring forth good feelings and plenty of blog fodder. :)

Family dinners always provide entertaining blog fodder in my world;)

Hope you find the same.

At least you haven't lost your ability to rock the 'ku!

Nothing like a meal with the loved ones to inspire the comic muse!

It's just amazing
How a family dinner
Can turn things around

if all families had dinner together - imagine the possibilities.

All I know is a mere five minutes on the phone with my mother or my brother usually results in endless blog fodder. ENDLESS.

Throw in food and I may need to start another blog.

Or go to therapy.

Heck, a blog is cheaper . . .

I came at the suggestion of Suzanne (suzannesez). She's right, you are very funny. I can't wait to visit again and read more about the Janet brood.

Let's just say I also enjoyed your previous post.

I hear you. Just when you think there's nothing to write, family steps in and makes it all better. hope things get better soon!

Even when you have little to say, you still manage to pull off a brilliant post. Your family meals are the best blog fodder. I'm sure they won't let you down :)

I wish you lived closer so I could crash your dinner. Really. Well - except that I might be forced to tell Roo that cheerleading sucks. Which might shatter her little teenage heart. Which would be bad. But then I could make penis jokes. And that would be good.

The end.

I feel ya. Totally.

Hot dog! You know I love your family meals most of all.
