Why the heck else would I take out my prized Nikon on a regular basis and grossly annoy my children by flashing it in their faces. (Ah, well, perhaps it really is to just grossly annoy them. After all, isn't that what makes a parent's life worthwhile?)
So the idea of having a poster-sized print of one of my favorite shots appeals to me very much.
That's why I'm offering YOU a chance to win a photo poster print!
Online Poster Printing will give one lucky person a 16x20 poster print of your fave-rave photo.
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post, telling me what you would do with a poster photo print. Would it be one of your favorite pet? Your children? You and your spouse? Your favorite sunset? The inside of a blowup colon?Want another entry? Tweet about it and leave the permalink in a comment.
A third entry? Plurk it and leave the link in a comment.
A fourth? Blog about my giveaway and link back to this post -- and leave a link in a comment.
Are you getting the picture here?
However you do it -- and this is the most important part -- EACH ENTRY MUST HAVE A SEPARATE COMMENT! (I made this mistake once, and I am NOT doing that again!!!!!!)
My friend the Random Integer Generator will cough up the winner.
Also make sure you provide a valid email address so I can contact you to receive your prize. The print will ship for free in the United States and Canada. Others can enter and receive the poster for free but will have to pay shipping. (Sorry, but them's the rules.)
Deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. PDT on Sunday, March 29.
Ready, set, go.

Oooh, decisions. I think I'd blow up the picture of my three menfolk I took at Bok Gardens a few months ago. It captures their silly side.
If not, I'd probably go for one of the many flowers I've been shooting Macro lately.
Well look at that would you. I would hang mine on the wall, that's what I'd do with it. I love oversized wall art.
I ordered a 16x20 of a photo I took last spring that is Danny's favorite as a Christmas present for him this year. It's a pic of a clump of trees next to what looks like a pond at sunset. The pond is really a huge puddle in a flooded field on the other side of the river from us, but no one ever knows that. I ordered it from Mpix (where I'm getting all my prints done lately) on metallic paper. The paper gives the photo kind of a pearlescent quality that is very nice for most landscape photos.
The next 16x20 I'd like to get would be my favorite from the series I took of our neighbor's controlled burn. My mom requested that one for her birthday this year, and I had it done on the same metallic paper. On that paper the fire almost seems to move and dance. It looks so much more real than on regular photo paper.
Definitely a photo of the kids - I am large enough already - I don't need to appear in poster form on my wall.
Gimme. Gimme. Gimme. It would take me a year to pick just one photo, but GIMME.
If the Canucks are included, then count me in. If not, I completely understand. But thanks for posting that link, cuz I went over and checked it out. There are a few scenery pictures The Husband and I have said we'd like to blow up but didn't know where to go. Now I know. Thanks, Janet!
I want a poster picture of my mommy. I can hang it on my new living room wall and everyday I will look at her and tell myself she approves....
I would like a poster size picture of my hubby and my oldest playing football on THE Kansas State University football field. But it is not a digital, does it have to be digital? I'll be back later with a bunch of other comments and links just like you asked!
I would use the same image that I sent you for Christmas, my goodness, that was over a year ago?!?!
Ooh, that would be fun. So many kid pictures to choose from! I'll probably sit them down amongst the trillium. I may have to give it to a grandparent though. We don't have much wall space left.
I finally took a great photo of all four of my kids. Looking good at the same time! You know the odds of that. I want it:)
LOL,I am NOT entering this contest....for Jen's bat mitzvah we did a poster sized photo of her, and another of Becca. for Becca's bat mitzvah...well, each table had a poster of Becca,,,Jen's talbe had one of both girls...my livingroom is now populated with posters of my children....
There are oh so many possibilities. But I'd have to win first. I want it, too.
Oh! Pick me! Pick me! I would blow up a favorite picture from our honeymoon and hang it in our bedroom. You know...for inspiration.
I would print a pic I recently took of my 3 week old baby girl. She's a little angel!
I would use it for my daughter: not a picture of her, but a photo taken by her. She is a talented amateur photographer, and the only hard part would be choosing which picture!
And this would be my entry for plurking about it. Tutu photo. It shall be mine.
I plurked it! Now off to Twitter.
Twitter done!
I don't have Twitter, I don't know what the other thing even was (oh dear, so technologically inept!), and not very many people look at my blog....
So!
I'm just doing this. I don't know what I would choose to have poster-size, but I'm pretty excited to put some thought into it. Maybe a picture of a bunch of my friends and me in Ireland last semester? Or a picture from my study abroad programme in London? Or something my dad and I took when we travelled? I don't know. So many brilliant options!

Dude, I plurked it. Toss my name in again.
And? I twittered it. How about you just hand it over now, okay?
Hi sugar! I just blogged about it! Here is the link you requested!

XOXO
Karen needs to back off, yo. I twittered it, too. http://twitter.com/burghbaby/status/1385863711.
Cool giveaway...I'd do a shot of both my little kiddos:)
OHMIGOSH!! easy!! I'd wait till my sister's baby was born (May) and I visit in June. Then take a great pic of the baby. THAT, to me, would make a great poster. :-) (Yes, I can't wait for the baby... it's painfully obvious.)
I'm big pimpin'! http://www.plurk.com/p/l2ghf
Fo' Shizzel!
Sign me UP. I want a big one of the daddy/son hand holding photo I took a few weeks ago. It's total hawtness.
I haven't taken that favorite photo yet -- but if I win -- I'll sure as heck git her dun.
Wow - a poster size print? I would probably get one of this cool picture I took of my son with our dog. It turned out pretty good (after a little photoshop too!) Then, I'd find somewhere to hang it. I have an empty wall somewhere in this house.
I would have a tough time deciding between one of the thousands of pics of Master J or one of the hundreds of pics of flowers and/or architecture, but I would totally love the opportunity to be overwhelmed by the whole process.
A pic of my daughter (although choosing which one could be tough) probably for my living room or for her bedroom!
My little girl! But, the blown up colon does sound intriguing!

I have a picture of my tabby cat when she was still young that I think would be amazing if it was blown up poster size. The amount of detail in the shot is fabulous and I think a poster would really bring it out.
Oh...I would love a poster print of my 4 grandchildren or Victorian home.
It would hang proudly in the living room.
Sue
This is a great giveaway!
I think I'd let my 4yo take some pictures and then we'd choose one to make into the poster. We're moving soon and we'd hang it in his new bedroom!
I would blow up the picture (I just took) of my 2 year old on the potty, drinking juice...sorry, I'm a proud mommy!!
ohh so cool. I would blow up a photo of all of our 3 converse shoes together. A nontraditional family picture for an nontraditional family.
I have a few from my Scotland trip I'd pick. Can you believe that was a year ago? Crazy talk.
I would completely blow up one of the pictures my wonderful husband has taken of my beautiful 3 1/2 month old son....
