Weekly Winners: May 17-23

I started the week at the Coffee Bean, floated through the garden and ended up in faraway collegeland for graduation weekend.

Which is more popular?

Duh!

Up close and personal:

What's buzzin', baby?

Its bark is worse than its bite ...

And awaaaaay we go!

The photographer at work:

Just for the regard, she put me on notice for this trip:
She and her camera were getting revenge. I'm toast.

... Aaaaaand the reason for THIS season:

Yes, I hate his hair too. But the kid is going to be 20 soon. I have limited input.

Go --->here<--- for more of Lotus' weekly winners!

Congrats to your graduate!

I think that time in restaurant kitchens will make him realize that he does NOT like long hair. :)

And hair is certainly not worth the battle. Mine have gone through some horrible periods. Funny thing about it - now they look back and are embarrassed by the way they looked.

Awwww. I have to admit, I like his hair.

But I married a guy that looked like that. He is very clean cut now.

BWAHAHAHAHA! I agree with Debbie... Pick your battles! That? would SO not be one with all the other things that are much more worth it.
You have my permission to remind him I said this as many times as you feel the need. Make him feel like you are doing him a huge favor letting him keep his hair like that and HE OWES YOU!
Graduation! Kudos to you! Unfortunately, I have one in Expensive School and one graduating high school and about to start Expensive School.
But, the feeling of having a graduate, whether from high school or college, is a heady one. You've done a grand job! (At least I think that's what it means!) ;-)

LOL I laughed at the hair comment. My oldest is turning 21 very soon and I'd love to comment on the make-up she wears...but wouldn't dare. Funny how when she was younger, I wouldn't hesitate but now I overlook things like that and keep them to myself. I think I'm finally growing up LOL

BIG Congrats to your graduate!!

Focus on the flowers and bark... The hair will take care of itself in time. Not OUR time, mind you!

Way to go, Mom!

Love those pictures. Chocolate is nearly always better, especially if it's dark :)
