Weekly Winners: August 2-8

The dog days of summer have taken me. I'm fairly unphotographic these days. But when the Roo-girl told me she was going to the park to throw back handsprings -- AND I COULD COME AND TAKE PICTURES!! -- the answer was, of course, yes.

Unfortunately, Niki (the Nikon -- we're buds like that) failed me by declining to focus, making auto-focusing a laughable moment.

I managed one that I was happy with. Others were rejected by Roo for form issues (see here for an example of what she shouldn't be doing).

So, here it is:

... As well as a gratuitous portrait of the lady in question:

Oh wow...look at that! My body does not move like that anymore. Actually, it might have ever moved like that in the first place :~)

That is awesome and Niki is, obviously, loving you some cause she managed to get Roo before her hands are even down in the grass. I realized right before I went to comment that she has still not landed, hands or feet. At least that's what it looks like! Too cool! Oh, and her form looks perfect as well!

Beautiful. My son and I went to see "Wicked" yesterday. I was so impressed. Those people can sing! It was great and the production was excellent.

I think I just twisted something looking at that first picture :).

Sigh.
I could do that once. Although my form was probably never good.

Nothing gratuitous about Roo pictures. The more the merrier. She's too beautiful not to have lots and lots of pictures.
